THE STORY
Our woven Abbeville Angie Jacket offers vogue styling designed for long wearing comfort. We have also crafted this top using a premium Tencel & Cotton Blend fabric chosen for its luxurious soft textured feel, durability and minimal care. Attention is drawn to a sublime “floral vine motif” jacquard weave (which we call “Abbeville”) to help express your own personal sense of style.
Our Angie Jacket features a wide band collar with frontside double button closure. The buttonless split front opening has backside reinforcement for extra durability. The 3/4 length, pieced Juliet sleeves are finished with simple fold-over trims. The squared bottom hem falls to just below the waistline. There is piecing to the entire torso, with vertical finger pockets to the front of the jacket. Very subtle stitching throughout renders elegant craftsmanship to this unfitted, “box style” silhouette. Garment dyed richness also adds distinctive character to this versatile top, which is perfect for traveling, smart looking for the office, and would make a smart addition to your weekend wardrobe.
Our intriguing “Abbeville” fabric features a beautifully soft-textured jacquard weave that draws inspiration from cottage garden vinery. The primary design element here is a field of stylized floral vines in circular configurations, and in pattern repeat.
