FABRIC & CARE

FABRIC CONTENTS: 50% Cotton / 50% Polyester

For centuries Cotton has been renowned as being the principal clothing fiber of the world, and its’ production is one of the most influential factors in world prosperity and economic stability. A medium strength natural plant fiber, Cotton is cool, absorbent, and can withstand high temperatures. When fabricated, Cotton releases perspiration quickly, allowing the fabric to “breathe”, thus giving it a premium on comfort and wearability. Because of its’ absorbency, it is easily garment dyed.

The most common fibers used for industrial knitted fabrics are cotton. Our Cotton Blend Knit Jersey Burnout is lightweight, it drapes beautifully on the body, and it has just enough stretch across the grain for added comfort and wearing ease. This quality fabric features a stylish burnout design that provides a soft textured surface with a subtle semi sheer effect, and it is suitable for sewing into many apparel body styles fashioned for women's clothing.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash warm with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). Tumble dry low. Warm, steam iron.

Our Dixen Shelby Tunic Top was designed using a Cotton Blend Knit Jersey Burnout fabric chosen for long wearing comfort and minimal care. The refined burnout texture adds a semi sheer and fashionable touch to support the soft hand of the fabric. Attention is drawn to chic design details and a contemporary “floral paisley motif” print (which we call "Dixen") to help express your personal sense of style.

Our pullover Shelby Tunic Top features a scoop neckline that is softened by a thin band of slightly gathered fabric, which prevents hard lines around the collar. Juliet cuffs adorn the ¾ length sleeves, which puff at the elbow, providing a feminine touch to this loose fitting silhouette. Gathered empire styling creates a tiered look that flares slightly to the hips, offering much appreciated comfort and wearability. Subtle stitching throughout, hidden side pockets at the bottom hemline, and garment dyed richness provide appreciable value to this wardrobe investment.
