Dating back to 4th Century BC Egypt, this technique was also practiced in Asia, Africa and Australia, but has since been highly developed in Indonesia. Batik is prized for its intricate patterns and almost endless color palette. Our Bhakti rendition here features a layered floral landscape with overprinted scrollwork designs.
