A year round consumer favorite, our sensibly styled woven Loving Blouse is garment dyed for rich coloration and is offered in select season relevant hues. This silhouette retains its’ fashion integrity when designed for use with numerous modern fabrics produced for women’s linen clothing.

  • Full bodied blouse body style with subtle stitching throughout
  • Traditional point collar with a triple stitched button down front
  • Full length sleeves with buttoning square cuffs
  • Sleeves can be rolled and fastened with buttoning tab
  • Round bottom hem with side slits, and backside is slightly longer

FABRIC & CARE

FABRIC CONTENTS: 100% Linen

Linen textiles appear to be some of the oldest in the world, where examples found in Europe and Africa date back thousands of years old. For centuries linen has often been associated with wealth since it was mainly used by the upper classes of society. Linen is a bast fiber, made from the fibers of the flax plant, and it is labor-intensive to manufacture, thus produced in relatively small quantities. When fabricated, it is highly valued for its’ smooth texture, organic natural luster, and exceptional coolness in hot weather. A very durable and strong fabric, linen is one of the few that is stronger wet than dry, and it has no lint or pilling tendency. Nevertheless, the tendency to wrinkle is often considered part of the fabric’s “charm”, including its’ random “slubs” (small knots) that provide the aesthetic appeal of a natural product. 

This premium Linen is lightweight, semi-sheer and gets softer the more it is washed. Linen is also highly absorbent, which makes for an ideal garment in keeping the wearer cool and comfortable. 

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Machine wash warm with like colors (preferably on gentle cycle) and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). Tumble dry low, or line dry, or air dry on a good non-absorbent hanger. Warm, steam iron (to reverse side). Dry clean OK. 

Note: This Linen fabric is semi-sheer where an undergarment might be necessary to reduce the transparent character of the weave. Also, actual colors may vary slightly due to your screen.
