Different from other man-made fibers, Rayon is not synthetic, being made from regenerated wood pulp, an Eco-natural, cellulose-rich raw material. Rayon's properties are renowned for their similarity to organic fibers such as cotton and linen. Featuring a chic Mandarin collar, one of the hallmarks of Oriental apparel design, we have also added a few subtle feminine touches that render this top an elegant look to match the graceful drape of our signature Tencel fabric. Dating back to 4th Century BC Egypt, this technique was also practiced in Asia, Africa and Australia, but has since been highly developed in Indonesia. Batik is prized for its intricate patterns and almost endless color palette. Our “Queen” rendition here features a blockprint styled, floral landscape rendered in naïve artistry. This synergy of superb print artistry and functional apparel design wonderfully enhances the luxurious drape of our premium Tencel & Rayon blend fabric.

Our stunning ethnic Mud Print fabric pattern draws inspiration from West African mud cloth textiles, called "Bogolanfini", a language composite of bogo (meaning "earth"), lan (meaning "with"), and fini (meaning "cloth"). Production of this cotton fabric is an ancient home-craft, and finished Bogolanfini are an authentic traditional art form. Our distinctive Mud Print here includes elements and patterns that have no particular symbolic meaning other than to simply look beautiful.
