Rayon, or Viscose Rayon, was the first manufactured textile fiber, invented in 1884 in France, but has been produced for global commercial use since 1905. Different from other man-made fibers, Rayon is not synthetic, being made from regenerated wood pulp, an Eco-natural, cellulose-rich raw material. Rayon's properties are renowned for their similarity to organic fibers such as cotton and linen. Rayon is soft, strong and absorbent, which makes for an ideal garment in keeping the wearer cool and comfortable. THE STORY
One of our more popular garments is our woven Erika Bias Tank Top which we have crafted using a natural fibered, eco-friendly TENCEL™ fabric chosen for long wearing comfort, durability and minimal care. This iconic body style is enhanced by the rich drape, and soft-textured suede-like finish, of our signature Tencel fabric. Although ideal for layering, this top is smart-looking worn alone because of tasteful style elements embodied within its' design. Garment dyed richness also adds distinctive character to this lovely Tank, bringing a beautiful array of colors to complement your travel, office, and weekend wear.
Our pullover Erika Bias Tank Top is cut on the bias, which allows the fabric to mold to the figure and the body's natural curves. Also featured is a V-neck that is very flattering to the décolleté without over-exposure. The arm openings are reinforced on the underside with a "bias facing" so as not to interfere with the luxurious drape of the fabric. The hip-length squared bottom hem has side slits that afford a slight, stylish flare to the hips. Subtle stitching throughout enhances the fashion simplicity of this loose fitting top. This versatile Tank is an essential investment for any well planned wardrobe.
