This ingenious TENCEL™ blend is a wonderful combination of fibers that provide much appreciated comfort and “easy care” practicality. Tencel lends weight to create long lines and an elegant drape. For the environmentally conscious, Tencel comes from a creation process using 100% biodegradable cellulose fiber that is processed using an organic solvent, then spun into a luxurious fiber. The Cotton natural fibers used in this blend give this fabric added strength and “breathability” for long wearing ease. Finally, the Spandex addition affords this micro knit to maintain a delightful elasticity that keeps the shape of the garment, yet allows for figure flattering lines. This synergy of fibers creates a “Whisper” soft hand which makes for an ideal garment in keeping the wearer cool and comfortable.

THE STORY
Our S.S. Tee was designed using a TENCEL™ Knit Jersey fabric chosen for long wearing comfort and minimal care. With costume origins from traditional ballet corps in Europe during the early 1800’s, the elegant short tunic design of this silhouette has enjoyed decades of popularity among women of all ages. The refined texture adds a semi sheer and fashionable touch to support the soft hand of the fabric.
Our pullover S..S. Tee features a scoop-neck that is very flattering to the décolleté, but with modest exposure. The backside neckline is reinforced with inside facing for durable wear. Long sleeves provide a feminine touch to this Tee top. The square bottom hem falls to the upper hips and is finished with a simple turned-over trim. Subtle stitching throughout enhances the fashion simplicity of this short tunic body style. This Rayon blend fabric is a marvelous combination of knit refinement and practicality, with a superb drape and soft-textured aesthetic. Rayon was the first manufactured textile fiber, invented in 1884 in France, but has been produced for global commercial use since 1905. Different from other man-made fibers, Rayon is not synthetic, being made from regenerated wood pulp, an Eco-natural, cellulose-rich raw material. Rayon's properties are renowned for their similarity to organic fibers such as cotton and linen. Rayon is soft, strong and absorbent, which makes for an ideal garment in keeping the wearer cool and comfortable. The absorbency character of our Rayon blend also allows for quality garment dyeing, thus enriching our product with vibrant hues and deep colorations.
Industrial knitted fabrics afford form fitted styling since their elasticity permits them to follow the body’s curvature. This knit jersey fabric is suitable for manufacturing into a variety of body styles. Our knitted jacquards have a soft, textured hand, providing long wearing comfort. Additionally, this fabric is easy to care for and is wonderfully wrinkle resistant.

For centuries Cotton has been renowned as being the principal clothing fiber of the world, and its’ production is one of the most influential factors in world prosperity and economic stability. A medium strength natural plant fiber, Cotton is cool, absorbent, and can withstand high temperatures. When fabricated, Cotton releases perspiration quickly, allowing the fabric to “breathe”, thus giving it a premium on comfort and wearability. Because of its’ absorbency, it is easily garment dyed.

Our pullover Devon tunic top features a band V-neck that is reinforced with backside facing for extra durability. The ¾ length sleeves are finished with simple fold-over hems. A form fitting drape sweeps downward from the shoulders to a bottom hemline that falls to the upper thighs. This is a dual frame silhouette in that there are two tunic frames sewn together to create one top. The major difference between the two is that the inside tunic has a squared bottom hem, whereas the outside tunic hemline has an enlarged handkerchief point to the front left leg and another to the hind right leg.
