Silk fiber is actually very stronger than Cotton fiber. The main reason people dry clean silk is so the garment does not shrink because most silk garment makers do not build in the shrinkage by pre washing to pre shrink the garment…..

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Tianello garments are always prewashed or garment dyed so they are always "Pre-Shrunk" NO Dry Cleaning necessary. Machine wash warm with like colors, and with mild detergent (do not use bleach, and do not pour fabric softener directly on garment). Tumble dry low. Warm, steam iron (if needed).

Our classic Savoir Blouse features a traditional point collar with a triple stitched button down front. Full length sleeves end with buttoned square cuffs. For a stylish look the sleeves can also be rolled back toward the elbow and fastened with a buttoning tab. The backside sports a classic yoke that has a slight “V” shape. A full bodied fit with very rich draping provides long wearing comfort.
